This year, Adriano Silva participated as guest speaker in the MIT Annual Conference, showcasing part of the work carried out in CeDRI in his PhD.

Part of the CeDRI team had the honor of participating in the TEEM24 Conference in Alicante, Spain. On this occasion, researcher Laiany presented her work entitled "Learning Mobile Robotics: An Approach Based on a Classroom Competition", developed together with researchers Mariano Alvarez, João Coelho, Miguel Conde, Paulo Costa and José Gonçalves, having been recognized as the Best Article of the Track "New Trends in Teaching Mechatronics Engineering". The second meeting of the transnational project ThinkGame took place at the Faculty of Automation, Computer, Electrical Engineering and Electronics of the University Dunarea de Jos em Galati, Roménia, at 23th and 24th of October 2024.

On 25 October, CeDRI had the honour of receiving a visit from Professor Vera Vasilévski, from the Computer Science department of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Santa Helena Campus.

Last 21 and 22 of October, CeDRI participated in a meeting of the partners of the EYDIgifolio project in Dublin, Ireland, where the structure of the online application for the documentation of children’s learning and development was discussed. The innovative platform will be available for teachers to observe, manage the observation mementos and use them to better structure and understand the children development.

CeDRI had part on the five days of learning and ideas held at the Ciência Viva de Bragança, where the researcher Joana Fernandes showed the little scientists how programming can help medicine and voice care.

From October 23 to 25, CeDRI participated in Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality - TEEM'2024, in Alicante, Spain.
