The Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) is an applied inter-disciplinar research unit that clusters together active researchers from the fields of Electronics, Computer Science and Mathematics. The research activities at CeDRI aims to develop scientific knowledge and applications in technological systems of high impact in industry, fostering the competitiveness of the socio-economic system, with a special focus on regions of low population and economy density, characterized by SMEs that combine a small scale with a rarefied local industrial system and where their competiveness is strongly affected by the difficulties to access industrial innovation.
The mission of CeDRI is to contribute to the development, application and transfer of scientific knowledge related to robotics, intelligent systems, and information and communication technologies, in the scope of the digitalization and automation of industrial systems, strengthening the scientific and technological system.
The board of CeDRI is committed to promoting a positive, healthy, and supportive environment, improving its members' physical and emotional well-being, and increasing their overall satisfaction at the workplace. By promoting Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within technical disciplines, CeDRI aims to create a more balanced, inclusive, and equitable research culture that advances innovation and considers its societal impact.
