Infrastructures and Communications Laboratory

The main objective of the Communications Infrastructures Laboratory is to support areas of expertise in Computer Engineering, such as Computer Systems, Computer Networks and Communications, Network Systems Management, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Industrial Communications and a CISCO Academy Laboratory (Netacad).

The lab has 15 workstations supported by two main racks, one with support equipment for the main connectivity with Internet access and another rack with active network equipment for academic work. It also has 5 smaller racks with 3 active network equipment kits for teaching support for various subjects in the area.

There is also a work area suitable for project and research work, and an isolated office for permanent research work in the areas mentioned.
