Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments Laboratory

The LCGAV provides conditions for teaching, research and experimentation on topics such as computer graphics, image processing, simulation and computer vision. In association with this type of research, the LCGAV makes it possible to combine experiences in virtual environments, using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), in order to offer stimuli related to interaction, imagination and immersion.

Other areas of research and development associated with the LCGAV include multimedia systems, the development of human-machine interfaces and the simulation of processes applied to innovative information systems.

Areas of expertise: Multimedia and Interfaces, Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality, Information Systems, Computer Graphics and Simulation.
