Adriano dos Santos Silva has graduated in Chemical Engineering at Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR) in 2020 and obtained his Master's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2019 at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB). In 2020, he obtained the Portuguese recognition of graduated in Chemical Engineering and started working on a project entitled "RTChip4Theranostics - Real time Real time Liver-on-a-chip platform with integrated micro(bio)sensors for preclinical validation of graphene-based magnetic nanocarriers towards cancer theranostics", funded by FCT. Currently, he is PhD student at Faculty of Engineering of the Unviersity of Porto, owner of a PhD scholarship under the MIT Portugal Program and collaborator of the project entitled "PLASTIC_TO_FUEL&MAT- Upcycling Waste Plastics into Fuel and Carbon Nanomaterials", funded by FCT. He has published 1 article in international peer-reviewed journal and 16 communications in international/national congresses. He has organized 10 events and participated in 12 events. His research interests are related to the optimization algorithms for vehicle routing problems, IoT, and synthesis of nano and macro structured materials for water treatment technologies and biomedical applications.
