PhD Student
Thadeu Brito received a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Technological - Paraná (UTFPR) in Brazil from 2012 to 2018. During the graduation he participated in the program "Jovens Talentos para a Ciência", created by CAPES. Also during the graduation, participated in the double diploma program between UTFPR and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB). At the end of the program, he received a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from IPB in the year 2019, the thesis developed is entitled "Intelligent Collision Avoidance System for Industrial Manipulators". Since 2016, Thadeu Brito has been dedicated to research and development in robotics with applications in ROS for the sectors of: manipulation, planning, perception, simulation, collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots and unmanned aerial vehicles. Currently he is a researcher at the Research Center in Digitization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI), his research is focused on the "Sistema de Monitorização e Alerta Florestal (SAFe)” project.
