Filipe Alves

PhD Student

Filipe Alves has received the graduation in Biomedical Engineering at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, Portugal, followed studies in the Biomedical Technology Master's degree at the same institution. Currently he is attending the PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at University of Minho, Portugal. Since 2017 he is working as a researcher at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, focusing his scientific activity in the area of scheduling and optimization systems. From there emerged research areas in multi-agent systems in industry and health, mathematical models and metaheuristic algorithms in decision support systems.
