Workshop on "Sustainability and traceability of the Agri-food value chain"

📌 On the 2nd of February, the CeDRI team was represented by Professor João Paulo Coelho, researcher André Mendes and master's degree student Bruno Stefanuto at PACT - Parque do Alentejo de Ciência e Tecnologia, in Évora.


The workshop, "Sustainability and traceability of the Agri-food value chain", was organized by the co-promoters of the mobilizing project of R&DT "BIOma - Integrated solutions of BIO-economy for the Mobilization of the Agro-food chain". Its main purpose is to bring together the main players in the Agri-food sector and create a multidisciplinary discussion space subordinated to the challenges of CVAA, and the importance of sustainability and digital traceability of the Agri-food chain. The CeDRI team was at the front of an exhibitor with the developments carried out so far in the scope of the project, namely an IoT sensor architecture for the collection of data from a primary production comprising us sensors, a LoRa communication network and a screen showing the table of indicators collected from the sensors, all properly assembled and functioning.

The end-to-end traceability platform of products from an Iberia salad was also shown, by Campotec, whose development was additionally able to count on the collaboration of the team from CeDRI.
