🫀 VCardioAI approved for funding by the FCT!

CeDRI is pleased to announce the approval of the VCardioAI project – Intelligent Cardiovascular Screening using Vectorcardiography – under the ‘HEALTH + SCIENCE: Exploratory Projects 2025’ call for proposals from the Foundation for Science and Technology.

🔬 The initiative aims to develop a portable cardiovascular diagnostic system that combines vectorcardiography and artificial intelligence to support the early detection of cardiac abnormalities.

The aim is to facilitate access to cardiovascular screening, particularly in inland regions with limited access to specialist healthcare.

🤝 The project brings together researchers from CeDRI, the UPB School of Health and ULSNE EPE, and also benefits from the collaboration of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto.
