🏆 Scientific article awarded the Best Paper prize at TEEM 2026!

We are proud to highlight the honour bestowed upon Rúben Silva, Pedro Oliveira and @Paulo Matos, whose scientific article was recognised with the Best Paper Award in the ‘Experiential and Project-Based Learning’ track at the international conference Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality (TEEM 2026), held in Porto, on 23 October 2026.

📱🔍 Entitled “A Mobile LiDAR-Based 3D Scanning Application for Indoor and Semi-Outdoor Mesh Reconstruction and Object-Level Region-of-Interest Capture”, the paper presents a 3D scanning application based on mobile LiDAR technology, which enables the reconstruction of three-dimensional models of indoor and semi-outdoor spaces, as well as the capture of specific regions of interest at the object level.
