The IEEE 2660.1 (Recommended Practice in Industrial Agents: Integration of Software Agents and Low Level Automation Functions) was approved as a new standard by the IEEE SA Standards Board on 24 September 2020. The P26060.1 Working Group was chaired by Paulo Leitão, coordinator of CeDRI – Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics, and has involved the participation of researchers from several international organizations, belonging to industry and academia.
